Consultation on future of skills launched
————————————————————————
Skills Minister John Hayes has recently invited employers, individuals, colleges and training organisations to share their ideas on how they would like skills policy to be set out in the future. However, you may not be regarded as a credible small business for this purpose unless you employ at least ten people. The whole process seems to be predicated on a singular lack of understanding of the landscape for skills development in the UK. Is it not the case that corporate skills development draws heavily on the input of freelance consultants, individual trainers and small teams?
